Hey there, fellow hackers!
Guess what? I was browsing through the Hackerone Directory when I stumbled upon this program that seemed pretty boring. It had hardly any resolved reports and barely any activity. It was like a ghost town compared to other programs. So, naturally, I was scared to even try hacking into it.
But then I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” So, I downloaded their product . I was hoping for some exciting discoveries, but it turned out to be a major letdown. I found nothing interesting or cool like I expected.
I gave up and started looking for other programs instead. But here’s where things get weird. Late at night, around 2:00 a.m., the app mysteriously appeared on my phone. It was like it had a mind of its own and decided to invade my privacy.
Being the curious person that I am, I decided to give it one more chance. I opened the app and found a chat section similar to Messenger. However, it was missing some cool features that other chat platforms have. So, I created an account on the app.
Now, here’s where it gets funny. Since I only had one phone, I used some trickery to make it seem like I had two accounts. It was like having a twin, but in the digital world. I created a group chat and added my other “twin” account to it.
But guess what? It was super boring! I chatted with myself in that group, hoping for something exciting to happen, but it was as dull as watching grass grow.
So yeah, my hacking adventure with that app turned out to be a big snooze-fest. But hey, at least I got a funny story out of it, right? Maybe one day that program will wake up and give us hackers something more interesting to work with. Until then, I’ll keep searching for thrilling hacking experiences in this crazy world.
Then, just as I was about to put my phone away to sleep,
I saw an icon in the top corner “Message Setting”, I opened it and scrolled down. I found an icon “Delete my messages” I just tried that functionality. After using it and deleting my messages. I didn’t find anything. At last when I visited my first account through which I created that group and which account was the owner of that group. I noticed that group was deleted automatically. I was shocked at what was that.
Step to Reproduce:
- Created 3 Accounts in that messaging app which is Redact. let say (UserA, UserB, UserC)
- Now create a group from any account let’s say from User A account
- Now add all of them in a group after that
- start the conversation from the whole account in that group.
- Here User A is the owner of the group now
- From User, B account go to Message Setting
- After that go to Delete my message
- Now tap on Also delete for others
- Tap on delete, You can see the whole group will be deleted from all members
Hope you all enjoyed the write-up. Stay tuned, more exciting things are on the way!
