What we are building?
The hacklido Forum is a next generation community. Not like others before it, though. The enormous difference here is that the platform is not restricted to one area – it can cover literally anything under cybersecurity but that doesn’t mean that’s where the conversations start and stop. Quite the opposite. hacklido was designed to bring people together with a view of creating something unique – a place where everyone can discuss the technical topics and issues that matter to them without feeling as though they really shouldn’t be asking, or treated in a condescending manner. In addition, there's no minimal entry requirement - for example, you can be a complete novice / beginner, seasoned veteran, or even battle hardened expert. We make no distinction here.
The platform is a new horizon in the sense that it is 100%+ fully designed for the mobile experience, has virtually real-time notifications, and so much more to offer. In fact (being brutally honest), it’s a distinct attempt at trying to establish a platform that everyone can use without the fear of repercussion – in other words, it’s a place where all voices are heard, and everyone is treated as an equal. Want to discuss anything related to cybersecurity you can think of ? Do it here. The absolute focus of this platform is to recreate communities how they should be It’s a level playing field here. Nobody has the right to demean another. We’re all here to learn. Looking for mentorship? You're in the right place. Looking to fix an issue which is sending you crazy? You're in the right place. The possibilities are endless.
Is it really "free"?
Yes, it is 100% free. Free as in speech.
Is my personal information safe here?
Absolutely. We don't even ask you for your name when you sign up, and the email address you decide to use is entirely up to you. We do not store any information about members on this, or the discussion site. Similarly, we'll NEVER bombard you with unwanted ads, spy on your browsing history, send you unsolicited email when we didn't request consent beforehand, or permit access to / sell your data to anybody. If you want to sign up using a pseudonym, then that's absolutely fine with us.
So where's the ads?
There aren't any. We have an immense dislike for ads, and if I don't like them popping up all over the place, what gives us the right to expect you to put up with it? This site rely on sponsorship, Donations and Contributions. So we guess we do not display ads unless we run out of donors. Donate now ?
