Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks are reaching unprecedented levels, with 1 Tbps-plus campaigns becoming increasingly common and putting growing pressure on organizations to strengthen their network defenses.
According to recent threat intelligence data, 12 DDoS attacks exceeding 1 Tbps were mitigated during Q2 2026, twice as many as were recorded throughout all of 2025. The largest attacks during the quarter reached 1.64 Tbps and 1.58 Tbps, demonstrating the growing ability of attackers to generate massive volumes of malicious traffic.
